About Us: Robert J. Head, Jr.

Robert J. Head, Jr., Attorney at LawBob is Clay County's first Florida Bar Board Certified real estate lawyer. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of real estate and business law. His practice covers a wide range of real property matters, including closings on commercial and residential property sales and construction, purchase and development of commercial and residential properties, representing real estate developers, various mortgage lenders as well as individual home buyers and sellers. Additionally, he provides legal representation for various buyers and sellers of companies and businesses. As founding Chairman of the Board of Clay County Bank, he is often engaged in matters related to banking and real estate lending.

Background: Born in Atlanta, Georgia, May 22, 1943; admitted to Florida and Federal Bar, 1968. Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer (Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization & Education). Education: University of Florida (B.A., 1965; J.D., 1967). Assistant Staff Judge Advocate, United States Army, Qui Nhon, Viet Nam, 1969-1970 (Captain); Law Clerk to Honorable Bryan Simpson, Judge, United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, 1970-1971; Assistant State Attorney, Fourth Judicial Circuit, Jacksonville, 1971-1972. Charter Member Clay County Bar Association (President 1977-1978); Past member (over 10 years) of the Executive Council of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar; Past chairman of the Clay County Economic Development Council. Bob is a member and past president of the Orange Park Rotary Club.
